Overview
- See the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River from unique perspectives with a helicopter flight over the landscape and a rafting adventure along the river. Soar over some of the Southwest's most beautiful natural and man-made sights, like Hoover Dam, before you tackle the Black Canyon by raft.
- Your excursion begins with a shuttle ride from select Las Vegas hotels to the Boulder City Terminal near Las Vegas. There you will board a helicopter ride with narrated commentary that shares the history of the landmarks you soar above, from incredible feats of engineering like Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, one of the world's largest man-made lakes, to some of the steepest cliffs in America at the Black Canyon of Colorado.
- After these beautiful landmarks, you can see the beauty of the ancient ravines of the Grand Canyon itself. Once you land on the canyon floor, visit the lands of the Hualapai Tribe and enjoy a light picnic and a champagne toast under a traditional ramada.
- Next, get ready for adventure as you meet your rafting guide at the base of Hoover Dam. Your excursion down the Colorado River takes you for 11 exhilarating miles (17 km), immersing you in views of the extraordinary Black Canyon before stopping to enjoy lunch on a riverside beach.
- Your journey culminates at the relaxing Willow Beach Marina, where you can take a breather before returning to Las Vegas.

Witness spectacular views of the volcanic Black Mountains, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and Grapevine Mesa before crossing the Grand Wash Cliffs and into the Grand Canyon.
Descend 3,200 feet to the floor of the canyon, landing alongside the Colorado River.
Soak in the scenery while enjoying champagne, a light picnic and approximately 30 minutes inside one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Return to the Papillon terminal with photos and memories to last a lifetime!
Check in at the hotel transfer desk located in the terminal lobby to meet your Black Canyon River Adventures guide for ground transfer to the base of the Hoover Dam.
A motorized raft will be waiting for you at the base of Hoover Dam. (Motorized raft is not an exclusive raft)
Enjoy the 11-mile smooth water float trip through Black Canyon and down the Colorado River. Stop at a private beach to enjoy lunch. A box lunch and beverage will be provided. Swimming is an option for passengers.
The float trip will come to an end at Willow Beach.
Complimentary shuttle service from Willow Beach to your hotel is provided by Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures.
Total tour duration is approximately 10 hours from hotel pick-up to drop-off.

Booking and Confirmation Process
- Due to high demand, inventory is mostly synchronous but sometimes not. Our consultant will check real time availability onsite and confirm seats.
- You will receive your booking information instantly via email. In the event that you do not receive our email, please check your spam folder, or log into your User Center to check your order status and download your voucher when available.

- From December through February, the rafting portion only operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals.

- All passengers aged 18 years and older traveling within the United States are required to present either a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport. Any customer arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation. Photocopies or digital images of identification cannot be accepted.
- Check-in is 45 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
- Complimentary hotel transportation is available from select Las Vegas hotels.
- Please arrange pickup from your hotel when you call to confirm your reservation.
- All helicopter passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Papillon will charge passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more for an additional comfort seat.
- Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour may be changed or cancelled without penalty up to 5 days before departure, subject to availability. Cancellations within 5 days of departure are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full with no refund. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
- Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
- All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 48 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 702-736-7243. Please have your reservation number available. Our specialists are available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Reservations without confirmed pick-up information will be wait-listed.
