Death Valley National Park
The Death Valley tour begins at your hotel. Guide will pick you up between 7:15 and 7:30 at this convenient location. Along the way your guide will highlight some important parts of the history of Las Vegas including the springs preserve, local construction, and other important items.
Many people come to Las Vegas to experience the lights and the glitter and the glamour that is the city of Las Vegas. However, one of the interesting points about Las Vegas is that you can drive just a few minutes out of the city and be right in the middle of very natural, interesting areas.
You will travel through the basins and the mountains of southern Nevada as we journey to our first stop, the area 51 Travel Center. You can look at some of the interesting alien themed gifts and souvenirs that you can purchase at this place.
Then head towards Beatty Nevada. You’ll probably see wandering burros, in and around the town. We then turn towards the historic Ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada. We will make two stops there and learn about the history of rhyolite as a gold mining center.
Our first stop on the valley floor is the Mesquite dunes. We will get out there for about a 10 to 20 mins stop and experience the dunes as we walk through them.
We then head back to California 190 on the floor of Death Valley and head to our next stop, which is the Harmony Borax Works. We learn about some of the human history of Death Valley and this important mining operation.
Our next stop, which is be the furnace Creek visitor Center, for lunch. The visitor center is a great place to go learn about Death Valley and the animals and plants that live there.
Bad water basin will be the next stop, which is the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. We will take a short walk out onto the salt flats and take some interesting photos.
We will drive along the floor of Death Valley and look across at the Panamint mountains to our left and the black mountains to the right as we drive a little further to our next stop, artist palette. At artist palette will noticed a beautiful color that exist and will then learn about the reasons why. We then complete the drive along Artist Drive and go back to the main road and drive up to Zabriskie point.
Zabriskie point is the final stop of the trip and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area including part of Death Valley.
We then go back to California 190 and drive out of Death Valley. We continue to Pahrump, Nevada and stop at the gold town casino. We then head back to Las Vegas and your hotel.

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals

- Casual, comfortable clothing is suggested (shorts, jeans, comfortable shoes).
- It is highly recommended our customers bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat, a small backpack for personal items while hiking.
- Please bring motion sickness medication if necessary.
