What To Expect

Overview

  • Since the West Rim of the Grand Canyon was designated as a tourist attraction in 1988, the number of visitors has been rising steadily, attracting around one million tourists every year. This area is an Indian reservation, where you can experience the grandeur of one of the World's Seven Wonders. Boasting spectacular naturally sculpted rock formations, the West Grand Canyon also offers a wide variety of outdoor activities.
  • For centuries, the West Rim of the Grand Canyon has served as the homeland of the Hualapai Tribe, offering an unparalleled visual spectacle. Eagle Point features massive rock formations resembling an eagle, which have been revered by the Hualapai people both in ancient times and today. However, the most thrilling attraction here is the man-made Skywalk, a glass bridge extending horizontally from Eagle Point of the Grand Canyon. Also located on the West Rim is Guano Point, which presents a full 360-degree view of the stunning Grand Canyon scenery. Venture deeper into the canyon along this nearly one-mile-high peninsula, and you will come across numerous perfect spots for photography. Climb up to the summit, overlook the Grand Canyon that surrounds you on all sides, and admire its breathtaking vistas from the highest vantage point.
