Day 2: San Francisco → Jacuzzi Family Vineyards → Artesa Vineyards & Winery → San Francisco

Our journey begins in San Francisco, with the first stop at Treasure Island for a panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay and postcard-perfect photos of the skyline. Next, we proceed to Jacuzzi Family Vineyards to sample local wines and premium olive oil. This is followed by a leisurely stroll through Sonoma Plaza, the largest town square in California, where you can enjoy lunch at a Michelin-recommended restaurant or a casual picnic on a bench – the choice is yours. We then head to the ultra-modern "Vineyard with the Best Scenery" – Artesa Vineyards & Winery – to taste their signature Pinot Noir and Chardonnay while admiring the Spanish-inspired courtyard. The final stop is Battery Spencer, offering breathtaking views of the twin valleys' vineyards and an unparalleled photo opportunity of the Golden Gate Bridge. Finally, we return to San Francisco by vehicle, concluding a delightful day.

Treasure Island

Treasure Island is a man-made island adjacent to Yerba Buena Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay. It was built in the 1930s for an expo in 1939 that celebrated the completion of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (the Bay Bridge route crosses Yerba Buena Island). During WWII the island was converted to military use and it remained that way until the 1990s.

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards

Fred and Nancy Cline built the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in 2005 as an homage to Fred’s grandfather, Valeriano Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi invented the namesake spa pump in his youth and later inspired his grandson love of winemaking. The winery offers delicious Italian style wines that include Teroldego, Barbera, Moscato, Arneis and Pinot Grigio and so many more! Guests who visit quickly become Italian enthusiasts and wine lovers.

Sonoma Plaza

Welcome to the heart of Sonoma Valley. Step into Sonoma Plaza, and you’ll feel as though time slows down. Not only is this the largest town square in California, but it may also be the most flavorful—whether you’re craving gourmet cuisine or crispy empanadas, every desire can be satisfied here. Stroll past historic adobe buildings, drop into a tasting room, enjoy a picnic under ancient trees, or simply wander and shop at your leisure. In the tranquil echoes of history and the vibrant energy of everyday life, you’ll truly understand the captivating essence of Sonoma.

Artesa Vineyards & Winery

Artesa Vineyards & Winery has been honored with the title of "Vineyard with the Best Scenery." Perched atop a sun-drenched hill, the estate was designed by renowned architect Cliff May, masterfully blending the vibrant charm of traditional Spanish red clay tiles with the elegant style of Napa Valley. "Artesa" means "craftsman" or "handcrafted" in Catalan, and the architecture itself is a vivid embodiment of this philosophy. Here, you can savor two signature wines: a Pinot Noir, offering delicate notes of strawberry and cherry with a light, refined body; and a Chardonnay, exuding aromas of citrus and butter, delivering a rich, smooth texture. Between sips, lift your eyes to the courtyard, where an exquisite fountain and sculptures create a harmonious interplay.

Battery Spencer

Battery Spencer was originally a military base at the Golden Gate Bridge during World War II, but its military use was later abandoned. Its proximity to the Golden Gate Bridge makes it an ideal spot for both distant views and photographic opportunities, making it a popular tourist destination.

We'll also take an optional boat tour of San Francisco Bay. We'll also be captivated by the Palace of Fine Arts, a site of the 1915 World's Fair gifted by the Panamanian government, and Lombard Street.

Transportation: Drive from hotel to San Francisco

Distance: 50KM

Time: 1h

Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the world's largest single-span suspension bridges and is considered a symbol of San Francisco. Spanning 2.7 kilometers, it spans the entire San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Strait in the Pacific Ocean, serving as a vital transportation hub connecting San Francisco with cities to the north. American blockbusters such as "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "X-Men" have also been filmed here.

Palace of Fine Art

The San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts was built in 1915 for the Panama Pacific International Exposition. After the conference, the Palace of Fine Arts gradually fell into disuse and eventually became a ruin. It was not until 1962 that the famous German architect Maybeck redesigned and renovated it, giving it a second youthful beauty.

Lombard Street

Lombard Street is known as the "world's most crooked street". Many movies such as "Venom" have filmed racing scenes here. It is one of the most popular landmarks in San Francisco. Every year, millions of tourists walk or drive through its eight sharp turns. It is surrounded by the mansions of Russian Hill, well-manicured landscapes and flowers, and is also one of the most scenic streets in the city. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the breathtaking view of San Francisco Bay, the Bay Bridge and Coit Tower.

San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf is a household name in San Francisco. Starting from Ghirardelli Square and extending to Pier 35, you can see the busiest Pier 39 with its various shops, restaurants, and street performances, as well as the views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Bay Bridge.

San Francisco Bay Cruise

The beautiful Golden Gate Bridge and the spectacular Oakland Bay Bridge are the faces of San Francisco. You can visit these two attractions one by one by taking a cruise. The cruise passes under the beautiful bridge, and you can feel the sea breeze on your face and feel relaxed and happy. You can also get a close look at the spectacular scenery of Alcatraz Island. Such a trip will definitely bring you very good memories.

San Francisco Civic Center Plaza

San Francisco Civic Center Plaza, also known as Joseph L. Alioto Plaza, is situated in the heart of downtown San Francisco. It stretches north to City Hall, south to Fulton Plaza, and east to the California State Supreme Court building. The area showcases a variety of architectural styles, with City Hall—constructed in 1915 in the French Renaissance design—serving as its iconic centerpiece. Additionally, the plaza functions as a cultural and artistic hub, home to premier performance venues such as the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall.

Twin Peaks

The two hills, about 270 meters above sea level, are also the only natural hills preserved in San Francisco. They are famous for their 360-degree panoramic views. Twin Peaks are the two main commanding heights in San Francisco, and there is an 8-shaped road surrounding the two peaks. The mountaintop observation deck here has a panoramic view of the beauty of San Francisco because there are no dense trees blocking it. Looking down from the peak, the bustling San Francisco city view and the charming bay scenery will make you intoxicated.
