Day 1: Vancouver Airport Pick-up

Airport Pick-up Information:

1. Complimentary airport pick-up services will be provided at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at: 10:00、12:30、15:00、17:00、19:00、21:00、23:00. We please ask that you patiently wait for other passengers to arrive at the airport before transferring to the hotel. The wait time may vary and depends on the bus schedule.

2. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) paid pick-up and drop-off services is available 24 hours a day.

1) For flights arriving between 07:00-23:00, the first 2 passengers will be charged USD$80 (CAD$100, CAD price exclude 5%GST tax), and each additional guest will be charged USD$20 (CAD$25, CAD price exclude 5%GST tax). Please be aware that there is a maximum of 4 guests per order.

2) For flights arriving beyond 07:00-23:00, the first 2 passengers will be charged USD$95 (CAD$120, CAD price exclude 5%GST tax), and each additional guest will be charged USD$20 (CAD$25, CAD price exclude 5%GST tax). Please be aware that there is a maximum of 4 guests per order.

3. For all guests who collect luggage and meet with the guide before 12:15, you may pay USD$19 (CAD$25, CAD price exclude 5%GST tax) to participate in the 3-hour Vancouver tour. Please patiently wait in the airport lobby and we will depart from the airport at 12:30.

The price is $55 per person one-way, and the pick-up location and time are: 13:30, 400 Broad St, Seat, WA 98109, Seattle Space Needle Square (this itinerary needs to be grouped with other Seattle returning guests. Departing Vancouver this morning, we'll drive along the scenic Fraser Valley Highway to Hope, the gold rush town featured in Sylvester Stallone's film "Rambo," a must-see for prospectors. We'll then travel to Kamloops, a semi-desert city renowned for its ginseng production. We'll visit a ginseng plantation and processing facility to learn about ginseng cultivation and its therapeutic benefits, and even have the opportunity to sample authentic ginseng tea. We'll then proceed to Separate Falls. While not as picturesque as Huangguoshu Falls or as majestic as Niagara Falls, it remains a natural wonder, shaped by over 400,000 years of glacial and volcanic activity. We'll spend the night in Valemount.

Kamloops Ginseng Factory

The largest producer of American ginseng in North America was originally in the United States, and Kamloops later began to grow American ginseng. Because Kamloops has unpolluted fertile soil and a semi-desert dry climate, it has become the largest producer of American ginseng in North America and is known as the "Ginseng Capital". It has a long history and culture of Aboriginal people, with a total of 17 Aboriginal tribal communities, making it the most important Aboriginal community in the interior of British Columbia.

Spahats Falls

Volcanic rock deposits left behind centuries ago formed the cake-shaped gorge of Separhat Falls, making it one of the most dramatic waterfalls in Wells Gray National Park. Take a stroll through the cool hemlock and cedar forests and see the waterfall cascading through a keyhole in the rock face 80 meters above the Clearwater River. It's absolutely spectacular!

Depart from Valemount in the morning and enter Mount Robson Provincial Park. As British Columbia's oldest provincial park, Mount Robson is not only a UNESCO World Heritage site, but also the starting point of the Fraser River's 1,368-kilometer journey to the Pacific Ocean. Then enter the town of Jasper and experience the unique charm of this town located in the national park. Next we will take a cruise on Maligne Lake, the world's second largest glacial lake and the only lake in the Rocky Mountains that is open to motor boats. After the tour, return to the hotel to rest.

Mount Robson Provincial Park

Mount Robson Provincial Park, the second oldest park in British Columbia’s park system, is truly one of the world’s crown jewels. The mountain for which the park is named guards the park’s western entrance. At 3,954 meters, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, towers over the lesser surrounding peaks; winter or summer, this is one of the finest views in the Rocky Mountains.

Town of Jasper

Jasper is a small town located in the northernmost Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada, with a population of approximately 3,000. The town was built in 1822 and has all the public facilities here, including restaurants, hotels, train stations, bus stations, cinemas, post offices, schools, hospitals, etc. There are many such towns in North America, each with its own history and charm, but because Jasper is located in Canada's famous national park, this town is particularly popular with tourists.

Maligne Lake

Maligne Lake is the second largest glacial lake in the world and the only lake in the Rocky Mountains where motor boats can sail. The scenery around the lake is magnificent, with dense pine forests, lovely grasslands and flowers all over the mountains. There are many hiking trails along the lake. The Fairy Island in Maligne Lake is the most beautiful scenery in the entire Jasper Park and often appears in various travel books and scenic postcards.

Today's journey begins with a visit to Jasper National Park, one of Canada's renowned alpine national parks and the largest in the Canadian Rockies. This stunning landscape, rich in wildlife, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll then enter the Rocky Mountain National Park complex and reach Athabasca Falls. While not the highest waterfall in the Rockies, the interplay of rivers makes it one of the most powerful and spectacular. We'll continue along the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Glacier. Take a giant snowmobile to the 300- meter-deep Athabasca Glacier and experience firsthand the remains of the Second Ice Age. Next, we'll visit the 280- meter-high Glacier Glass Bridge, a glass bridge overlooking the Columbia Icefield, offering a close-up glimpse of one of the world's most unique ecosystems. We'll then visit Peyto Lake, where the waters of this glacial lake are tinged with a Tiffany blue hue due to mineral deposits at the bottom. This jewel-like, shimmering water, nestled peacefully amidst the surrounding mountains, promises a truly spectacular viewing experience. We'll arrive in Banff in the evening.

Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park spans 4,200 square miles (10,878 square km) and contains significant active geologic processes, scenic mountains, along with diverse animal and plant populations. When Jasper was first protected as a forest park in 1907, it covered an area of approximately 5,000 square miles (12,950 square km). In 1930 it was declared a national park with its present size. It was designated part of UNESCO’s Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site in 1984.

Athabasca Falls

Located in Jasper National Park, Athabasca Falls is a waterfall formed in the upper reaches of the Athabasca River. It is known as the most breathtaking waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. Athabasca Falls is famous not only for its height of 23 meters and the rushing water, but also because the waterfall water carries sand and stones and impacts the two banks with great force to form a pothole.

Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Glacier was formed in ancient times. It is located on the plateau and close to the North Pole. It is one of the 17 glaciers in the Rocky Mountains. It is a famous ancient ice sheet relic in the world and a great watershed between the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The Columbia Glacier provides clean water and fresh air for the entire North America, and affects the ecological environment of animals and plants.

Columbia Icefield Adventure－Ice Explore

Check in at the Glacier Discovery Centre and take a shuttle to the Icefield Transfer Station to board a large Glacier Explorer built specifically for glacier travel.

Columbia Icefield Skywalk

Explore the immense powers of glaciology from a fully accessible, cliff-edge walkway that leads to a glass-floored observation platform 280 m (918 ft) above the Sunwapta Valley. Peyto Lake

Peyto Lake is a popular sightseeing spot! It is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is near the Icefields Parkway. During the summer, a significant amount of glacial rock flour flows into the lake from a nearby glacier. The suspended rock particles are what give the lake a unique bright, turquoise color. Due to its bright color, photos of the lake often appear in illustrated books.

In the morning, we will say goodbye to Banff Town. We will take the Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola and look out over the majestic Hot Springs Chateau Hotel, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Banff Town and the Rocky Mountains. Then we will go to Lake Louise Village, which is surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and quiet forests. It is an ideal place to enjoy rest and food. You can arrange lunch flexibly according to your personal preferences. Then we will go to Lake Louise, known as the "Rocky Mountain Sapphire", to feel the tranquility and beauty. Then we will check in at another glacial lake in Banff, Moraine Lake, with its calm waters rippling with blue waves. After the tour, we will pass through Glacier National Park and enjoy the excellent scenery of the Glacier Valley. Overnight in Grizzlytown/Salmon Bay.

It only takes 8 minutes to reach the top of Sulphur Mountain, 2,281 meters high, by taking the Banff Gondola. Lake Louise

Lake Louise, located on the south side of Highway 1, is a famous attraction in Banff National Park. With Mount Victoria as its barrier and surrounded by dense forests, the mountains and waters are interdependent, forming a perfect landscape photo. Departing this morning, we'll travel to Kelowna, British Columbia's fruit country, where we'll explore Lake Ogopogo and search for the mythical lake monster known as Ogopogo. We'll then visit the renowned VQA winery, tasting fine red and white wines and purchasing some of Canada's world-renowned ice wine. We'll then return to Vancouver by bus.

Okanagan Lake

Okanagan Lake, also known as Lake Okanagan, is located in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, southwestern Canada. It is the source lake of the Okanagan River, a tributary of the Columbia River. The lake is long and narrow, with an area of 351 square kilometers. According to legend among the local indigenous Indians, there is a water monster called Ogopogo in the lake. The air here is dry, the four seasons are distinct, and the climate and environment are unique, making it a tourist destination suitable for all seasons.

We will take a tour to the beautiful city of Vancouver! We will first visit the Butchart Gardens, a garden that has over 100 years of history and has many themes for you to look at! Then we will walk through Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest commercial street in the Chinatown neighborhood on the island. Next, we will go to the Victoria Mile Zero Monument. After that, we will visit the British-style Victoria Inner Harbor and stay overnight in Victoria.

The BC Ferry is the primary mode of transportation from Vancouver to Victoria. With so many people traveling between Vancouver and Victoria, vehicles are also transported together, so there's a queue upon arrival. The ferry, built in Germany, can accommodate approximately 400 vehicles. The six-story lounge features a comprehensive selection of amenities, including a souvenir shop, restaurant, children's playroom, computer room, business area, and first-class seating. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, with small islands constantly visible, seagulls flying around the mast, and with luck, dolphins. Combined with the azure blue sky and sea, the scenery is breathtaking.

Fun Fact: The ferries were first manufactured in Germany and can accommodate up to 400 cars at once, which is truly amazing!

The Butchart Gardens

Butchart Gardens, a renowned National Historic Site of Canada with over a century of history, is a family-owned garden. Construction began in 1904, and through generations of dedicated effort, it has become a remarkable achievement in horticultural art. It is the second-largest garden in the world, attracting over 500,000 visitors annually. In March, fields of daisies, pansies, and periwinkles bloom; in April and May, tulips bloom in every corner of the garden. From late May, the rose garden becomes the centerpiece of summer, with peonies also showcasing their beauty. In July and August, the gardens host nightly fireworks displays, accompanied by open-air stages and musical performances, ensuring every visitor enjoys their stay. The gardens also boast rare blue poppies.

Chinatown Victoria

The Chinatown in Victoria is the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the second oldest in North America after San Francisco’s. Now, Victoria Chinatown is surrounded by different cultural entertainment venues, as well as being a important venue by itself. Chinatown is also conveniently a few minutes’ walk away from other tour sites, such as the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, Bay Centre, Empress Hotel, Market Square, and other significant sites.

Victoria Mile Zero Monument

Located in the picturesque Beacon Hill Park in British Columbia’s capital, Mile 0 is one of the symbolic starting points of the Trans-Canada Highway on the Pacific Coast. The highway, conceived in the late 1940s and constructed between 1950 and 1971, was the longest uninterrupted highway in the world at the time of its completion. Spanning a whopping 4,860 miles (7,821 kilometers), it runs across all 10 of Canada’s provinces, crossing the Rocky Mountains and the wide-open prairies of central Canada.

Victoria Inner Harbour

The Victoria Harbor, including the Inner Harbor, is one of the mot beautiful harbors in the world. The harbor has a long-standing history, starting with its first use by the First Nations. Recreational vessels and small cruise ships can be seen in the center of this famous heritage city, just a few steps away from its historic streets and distinctive architecture.

In the morning, we drove along Highway 1 to visit Hatley Castle, a popular filming location for Hollywood movies such as *X-Men* and *Deadpool*. Next, we headed to Malahat SkyWalk, a newly popular attraction in Vancouver. We strolled along the 600-meter elevated walkway through forests of salal and Douglas firs to reach the spiral tower observation deck, where we could enjoy a full 360-degree view of the stunning natural scenery. After that, we traveled to Chemainus, renowned as the Mural Town. Murals meticulously painted by artists adorn walls across every street and alley. These vivid artworks depict the local customs, traditions and history of the town. There are also several antique shops in the town, perfect for hunting for unique treasures and testing your eye for valuables. Finally, we proceeded to Nanaimo, a picturesque harbor city, and took a BC Ferry back to Vancouver.

Malahat SkyWalk

Malahat SkyWalk is a 10-story spiral tower with distinctive architectural design. Located on the southern part of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, it officially opened to visitors on July 15, 2021. Long before its opening, it drew great attention from travel enthusiasts. It has been ranked among Canada's Top 20 Attractions, standing out as Vancouver Island's newest outdoor experience and top photo spot.

Chemainus Festival Of Murals Society

Chemainus, the famous Mural Town, sits on Vancouver Island and is home to only 600 residents. Its quaint lanes and simple folk customs make visitors feel instantly welcome. The numerous murals covering exterior walls, the town's greatest pride, always leave tourists lingering. These artworks mainly chronicle the town's century-old logging history and local lifestyles. The murals have continuously attracted tourists and inspired more artists to come and create. To date, the town boasts 34 murals and 8 sculptures, and hosts an annual mural festival, earning it the reputation of an "outdoor art gallery".

Nanaimo

Located in British Columbia, Canada, Nanaimo is the second largest city and the largest port on Vancouver Island. It is currently transforming from an industrial city into a leisure destination. The name "Nanaimo" derives from the language of local Indigenous peoples, meaning "a place of gathering". Thanks to its natural deep-water harbor, it was named the Harbour City by Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
