Each booking entitles you to one free airport pick-up at YYC Airport on the starting day of your trip. Paid pick-up service is available for multiple pick-up trips.

## Hours for Complimentary Pick-up

6:30 – 22:30. Please note that the last shuttle with tour guides departs at 22:00, and the final hotel transfer bus leaves at 22:30. Guests who miss these departures must make their own way to the hotel.

## Private Paid Airport Pick-up

Private car pick-up can be booked for flights arriving between 7:00 and 23:00. Please contact customer service to confirm pricing, with a maximum capacity of 4 guests per booking.

## Pick-up Arrangement Method

We will flexibly arrange pick-up by West Star tour guides or hotel transfer buses based on your flight arrival time. Guests with similar arrival times will share the same transfer shuttle, which may result in a short waiting period at the airport. We appreciate your understanding.

If airport transfer service is included in your itinerary yet cannot be completed as scheduled due to late or inaccurate flight information provided by the guest, the guest shall travel to the hotel independently. Should you require a new pick-up arrangement, the travel agency can arrange private paid car transfers based on actual circumstances, with separate charges applicable.

In the morning, take a coach to Banff National Park. Upon arriving at Sulphur Mountain, board the Banff Gondola (self-paid). As the gondola ascends slowly, you can admire the snow-laden mountain scenery surrounded by rolling peaks blanketed in snow. Afterwards, head to the Hoodoos perched above the Bow River bank, then witness the magnificent Bow Falls roaring down. Black rocks contrast beautifully with white rushing water, resembling a grand river surging eastward. Next, stop at Surprise Corner for distant views of Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow River. You will then enter and tour the Scottish castle-style Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, where you will stop for lunch at your own expense. After lunch, explore Johnston Canyon, one of the three major canyons in the Rocky Mountains, and follow the trail up to the rushing waterfalls. (In case of force majeure such as scenic area maintenance and closure, the itinerary will be replaced with visits to Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake.) Check into a hotel in Banff in the evening.

Depart from your hotel in Banff in the morning and catch distant views of Crowfoot Glacier along the way, before arriving at Peyto Lake. In case of force majeure such as scenic area maintenance or closure, the visit will be replaced with Waterfowl Lake. This maple leaf-shaped lake resembles a turquoise ribbon embedded in the valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Afterwards, a buffet lunch at your own expense will be arranged at The Crossing. Continue driving along the scenic Highway 93, the Icefields Parkway, to reach the Icefield Centre. Board the self-paid Ice Explorer to travel across the Athabasca Glacier and witness nature’s accumulation over hundreds of millions of years. You may also step onto the 280-metre-high self-paid Glacier Skywalk, which offers panoramic views of the Sunwapta Valley. When mist and clouds roll in, you will feel as if you are walking among the clouds. Next, head to Athabasca Falls, a 23-metre waterfall carved by melting glacial erosion, before driving to your accommodation hotel in Jasper Town for check-in.

From October 13 onwards, the itinerary will only include stops at scenic spots, with no optional bookings for Ice Explorer or Glacier Skywalk.

On clear weather days: Guests may take an easy hike up the hills in front of the glacier (approx. 60 mins) to experience the glacial landscape up close.

On poor weather days: As directed by the tour guide, guests will view the glacier from a distance, and an extra stop at Waterfowl Lake will be added to the itinerary.

Depart from your hotel in Jasper and pass by Medicine Lake, then reach Maligne Lake, the world’s second-largest glacial lake, at the lake’s far end. Take the seasonal optional Maligne Lake Cruise at your own expense*, drifting across the 22-kilometre-long lake and slowly approaching Spirit Island, known as "the meeting place of the gods". After the optional self-paid lunch at Maligne Lake, head to Maligne Canyon*, the longest and deepest canyon in the Rocky Mountains. (Due to the 2024 wildfires, this stop may be substituted with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Lake Beauvert depending on the national park’s opening status.) Carved by glacial erosion, the canyon features deep, craggy rock formations and breathtaking scenery. Afterwards, travel south along the Icefields Parkway, stop for a rest at The Crossing rest area, then visit Bow Lake with its sweeping panoramic views before heading south back to Banff.

*Operating hours for the optional self-funded Maligne Lake Cruise: May 29 to October 11. The schedule may be adjusted subject to lake ice conditions. When the cruise is unavailable, the alternative itinerary includes a 45-minute stop at Pyramid Lake and a 15-minute stop at Patricia Lake.

Maligne Canyon* may be replaced with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Lake Beauvert for a total of 30 minutes due to the 2024 wildfires, subject to the national park’s opening arrangements.

Depart the hotel early in the morning and head west along Highway 1. The steep and imposing Castle Mountain will come into view. Shortly afterward, you will arrive at Lake Louise, the most renowned lake in the Rocky Mountains. Bathed in sunlight, its mineral-rich waters shimmer with a mesmerizing sapphire blue, encircled on three sides by the towering Victoria Glacier. Resembling a jade gem nestled amid the mountains, it has earned the moniker "the Sapphire of the Rockies". Glancing back from the lakeshore, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands serenely among pine forests, welcoming visitors. Later, hike to the top of the trail, where the vivid turquoise waters of seasonal Moraine Lake reflect the jagged Ten Peaks. From this vantage point, the full lake and mountain panorama unfolds before your eyes, making time slip away unnoticed. After leaving Moraine Lake, proceed to Lake Louise Village for lunch (self-paid; Chinese or Western plated meal add-ons are available). Following lunch, continue westward, passing the Spiral Tunnel built through the blood, sweat and toil of Pacific Railway workers before entering Yoho National Park. You will reach the tranquil Emerald Lake, where red canoes ripple across its calm waters. Next, visit Natural Bridge, carved out over thousands of years by the Kicking Horse River. The waterway, ancient pines, distant mountain ranges and shallow shoals together form a stunning natural painting. On the return journey, stop over in Banff Town before driving back to Calgary.

*Moraine Lake: Seasonal access only. Reference opening period: Victoria Day long weekend in May through late September / early October each year, subject to official notices from Parks Canada. Depart south along Queen Elizabeth II Highway early in the morning, heading for Waterton Lakes National Park, the most famous ecological reserve in southern Alberta located on the Canada-US border. Afterwards, arrive at Prince of Wales Hotel, named after the Prince of Wales (afternoon tea add-on available). After tea, you may stroll along the lakeshore of Waterton Lake or take a lake cruise at your own expense, crossing the Canada-US border. After visiting Cameron Falls, drive back to Calgary.
