One free airport pick-up at YYC Airport on the itinerary start date is offered per booking. Paid pick-up service can be arranged for multiple pick-up trips.

6:30 – 22:30. Please note that the last departure of the guide counter pick-up is at 22:00, and the last hotel shuttle bus departs at 22:30. Guests who miss these departures shall make their own way to the hotel.

## Paid Private Car Pick-up

Private car pick-up can be booked for flights arriving between 7:00 and 23:00. Please contact customer service for pricing. A maximum of 4 guests are allowed per booking.

## Pick-up Method

We will flexibly arrange pick-up by West Star tour guides or hotel shuttle buses based on flight arrival times. Guests with similar arrival times will share the same shuttle bus, which may result in a short waiting period at the airport. We appreciate your understanding.

If airport transfer services are included in the itinerary, guests who submit incomplete or inaccurate flight information leading to pick-up arrangement errors shall travel to the hotel at their own expense. Should any actual losses arise therefrom, the travel agency reserves the right to charge the private car pick-up fee as compensation.

In the morning, take a coach to Banff National Park and arrive at Sulphur Mountain to board the Banff Gondola (self-funded). As the gondola ascends slowly, you will admire the snow-laden alpine landscape ringed by rolling mountain ranges. Afterwards, head to the Hoodoos perched high above the Bow River banks, then witness the mighty Bow Falls thundering down. Black rock formations contrast beautifully against white rushing water, evoking the grand imagery of a mighty river surging eastward. Next, proceed to Surprise Corner for distant panoramic views of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow River. You will then tour the Scottish castle-style Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and stop here for lunch at your own expense. After lunch, explore Johnston Canyon, one of the three major canyons in the Rocky Mountains, and follow woodland trails up to the churning waterfalls.

Depart the hotel early in the morning and head west along Highway 1. The steep and imposing Castle Mountain comes into view, and you will soon reach Lake Louise, the most famous lake in the Rocky Mountains. Bathed in sunlight, the mineral-rich lake water shimmers with a stunning turquoise blue, enclosed on three sides by the towering Victoria Glacier. Resembling a jade gem scattered amid the mountains, it earns the moniker "Jewel of the Rockies". Glancing back from the lakeshore, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands serenely amid pine forests, welcoming visitors. Afterwards, hike to the top of the trail, where the crystal-clear turquoise waters of seasonal Moraine Lake reflect the jagged Ten Peaks. Standing at the overlook, you can take in the full panorama of lake and mountain scenery, losing all sense of time. After leaving Moraine Lake, proceed to Lake Louise Village for lunch (at own expense; Chinese or Western plated meals available as add-ons). Post-lunch, continue west, passing the Spiral Tunnels built through the blood, sweat and toil of Canadian Pacific Railway workers before entering Yoho National Park. Arrive at tranquil Emerald Lake, where red canoes create ripples across the glassy water. Next, visit Natural Bridge, formed over thousands of years by the erosion of the Kicking Horse River. *Moraine Lake: Seasonal access. Tentative opening period: Victoria Day long weekend in May through late September / early October each year, subject to official notice from Parks Canada. If the lake is closed and inaccessible, the replacement attractions will be Lake Minnewanka (30 mins) and Two Jack Lake (15 mins). The mandatory entrance fee for Moraine Lake will be waived in such cases.

Depart from your hotel in Banff in the morning and catch distant views of Crowfoot Glacier along the route, then proceed straight to Peyto Lake. In cases of force majeure such as scenic area maintenance and closure, the tour will be replaced with a visit to Waterfowl Lake. This maple-leaf-shaped lake unfolds like a turquoise ribbon embedded in the valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Afterwards, buffet lunch (at own expense) will be arranged at The Crossing. Continue driving along the picturesque Highway 93 Icefields Parkway until reaching the Icefield Centre, where you may board the Ice Explorer (at own expense) to travel across Athabasca Glacier and witness the accumulation of nature over hundreds of millions of years. You can also step onto the 280-metre-high Glacier Skywalk (at own expense) to overlook the entire Sunwapta Valley; when mist and clouds roll in, you will feel as if you are wandering among the clouds. Later, head to Athabasca Falls, a waterfall carved by melting glacial ice with a vertical drop of 23 metres. Finally, drive to your hotel in Jasper Town for check-in.

Starting October 13, the tour will only stop at the scenic spots without the optional Ice Explorer and Glacier Skywalk experiences.

On fine weather days: Guests may take an easy 60-minute hike up the hills in front of the glacier to get an up-close view of the glacial landscape.

On poor weather days: Follow your guide’s arrangement to view the glacier from afar, with an extra stop added at Waterfowl Lake.

The train departs at approximately 08:30 local time. Please arrive at the train station at least one hour in advance to complete boarding procedures.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and travel along the banks of the North Thompson River. The train climbs steadily through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, drawing closer to the towering peaks of the Continental Divide. The breathtaking scenery along the way will amaze you once again. Key highlights of the day include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies standing at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), and Pyramid Falls. You will also cross Yellowhead Pass, the gateway to Jasper National Park. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard. Upon arriving in Kamloops, a dedicated Rocky Mountaineer shuttle will transfer you to your local hotel in Kamloops.

The train is scheduled to depart at around 08:30 in the morning (subject to official confirmed times). You must arrive at Jasper Station at least 90 minutes early to complete check-in and luggage consignment formalities (valid identification documents and your Rocky Mountaineer e-ticket are required for presentation).

We will pre-book complimentary shuttle buses to Jasper Train Station for you. Pick-up points are Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Chateau Jasper and Crimson. You may need to walk to the nearest pick-up location to board the shuttle, and we appreciate your understanding.

No late boarding will be permitted, as the train will not wait for individual passengers. Please allocate ample travel time to reach the station.

Large luggage must be checked in and cannot be carried onboard the train. Checked baggage will be delivered directly to your hotel accommodation in Kamloops for the night.

Please keep essential items such as your passport/identification documents, valuables, camera and regular medication in your carry-on luggage.

This is a daytime sightseeing train with no sleeper berths, and no stops for alighting will be made en route.

Breakfast and lunch are provided onboard. Please notify us ahead of time if you have any special dietary requirements.

English commentary is available throughout the journey. There is no Wi-Fi on the train, and smoking is prohibited at all times!

Mountain weather is changeable with a large temperature gap between morning and evening. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and a jacket should be carried to adapt to shifting weather conditions.

Depart from your hotel in Kamloops at approximately 06:50. A dedicated Rocky Mountaineer shuttle will transfer you to Kamloops Train Station for group boarding procedures. *Departure time is subject to train notifications; all onboard services are exclusively provided by the train crew.*

Your journey continues westward. Today, you will pass lush farmlands in the Fraser Valley, traverse dense forests and winding river valleys surrounded by the peaks of the Coast Mountains and Cascade Range, and enter arid inland terrain. Key scenic highlights include the raging Hell’s Gate in Fraser Canyon, as well as sheer precipices and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard.
