Created by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio, Vessel is an iconic New York City experience designed to be entered and explored. Enjoy new perspectives and remarkable views of the city, the Hudson River and beyond.

There are multiple pathways throughout Vessel for guests to explore—from the base to the top. On the lowest levels, the full 360-degree path is open. On the upper levels, only the areas that have been retrofitted with floor-to-ceiling mesh are open. This includes half the traversable area above level 2 and a single platform on the top level.

Booking and Confirmation Process
- Booking normally confirmed within 5 minutes if available. In the unlikely event that the inventory runs out, we will send you a cancellation notice and a full refund will be issued shortly. Please check your email.
- You will receive your booking information instantly via email. In the event that you do not receive our email, please check your spam folder, or log into your User Center to check your order status and download your voucher when available.

What is the cancellation policy?
Non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled or modified once submitted.
What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals.
Other important information
- This is a ticket for a specific date, please note that tickets need to be used on the same day and there is no refund for unused tickets after the time limit.
- This product is non-refundable once confirmed.
- There are no time limits on your visit. However, during busy periods we reserve the right to impose time limits. We recommend allowing for 30 minutes to your visit to Vessel.
- We encourage you to present your ticket on your mobile device, but printed tickets will also be accepted.
- If you can’t find your tickets, you can visit the Guest Services counter adjacent to Vessel on the day of your visit for assistance. Please bring the confirmation number issued to you during the reservation process.
- Vessel is an outdoor activity and is open during normal weather conditions, but we reserve the right to close Vessel during inclement or extreme weather at our sole discretion. Unless we determine to close Vessel, tickets will not be exchanged due to weather. If Vessel or a portion of Vessel is closed due to severe weather conditions, tickets can be rescheduled for a future date. Experience Ambassadors will be available to provide assistance and information.
- Vessel is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are required for all guests. Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult during their visit. Tickets for children aged 5 and under are free.
- Priority access to the elevator is reserved for visitors with disabilities. Vessel offers priority elevator service every 15 minutes to floor levels 5, 7, and 8. Priority access tickets are available for advance reservations. If priority tickets are sold out, you may opt to stand-by for elevator service to accessible floors 5, 7, and 8. Individuals with disabilities who cannot use stairs are given priority in the stand-by line for elevators serving these accessible floors. Wait times for the stand-by line can be extensive.
- Only service animals as defined by the ADA are allowed in Vessel.
- Clear, plastic water bottles are permitted in Vessel, however, no other food or drink is allowed. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited.
- Strollers are not allowed inside Vessel. There is an unmonitored stroller parking area nearby. Items left in this area are at your sole risk. Please hold on to personal belongings.
- Bikes, scooters, or skateboards are not allowed in Vessel. There is a bike rack nearby on 30th and 10th Avenue.
- Bags and luggage larger than 9 x 14 x 22 inches are not permitted. For security purposes, Hudson Yards reserves the right to inspect any bags. By visiting Vessel, you consent to such inspections.
- Photography is permitted for private use only. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a commercial photo shoot, please contact [email protected]. Tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted.
- If you loss something in Vessel,during your visit, please see an Experience Ambassador to report a lost item. After your visit, please email [email protected] for assistance.
- If you miss your entry day or time, please see an Experience Ambassador who may be able to accommodate you during the next available entry time. This accommodation is not guaranteed. All refunds are at the discretion of the operator; please see an Experience Ambassador for assistance.
