After lunch, go to Kelowna, the fruit town of BC, to visit the famous "VQA" precious winery, taste red and white wines and buy world-famous Canadian ice wine. Next, we will visit the Changing Color Lake, where the lake surface changes color with the seasons. Overnight in Salmon Bay/Grizzly Town.

Kalamalka Lake

Kalamalka Lake, also known as "Color Changing Lake", is a large lake in the interior plateau of south-central British Columbia, Canada, east of Lake Okanagan. At different times of the year, the color of the lake water changes from cyan to indigo, and it appears simultaneously in different areas, so it is called "Lake of a Thousand Colors". During the period of warm weather and enhanced photosynthesis of phytoplankton, calcium, carbonate ions and phosphorus in the water will precipitate, changing the color of the water and increasing turbidity.

In the morning, we headed to the Rocky Mountains along Highway 1, passing through the famous Rogers Canyon Passage in Glacier National Park. Then enter Banff National Park via Yoho National Park.Then arrive at Columbia Glacier. You can take an icefield snowmobile to feel the temperature of the ice and snow of Athabasca Glacier and touch it for thousands of years. Glaciers leave beautiful memories of your travels. Finally arrive in Banff city. Guests can go to the gift shop and taste a variety of different delicacies on their own.

Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Glacier was formed in ancient times. It is located on the plateau and close to the North Pole. It is one of the 17 glaciers in the Rocky Mountains. It is a famous ancient ice sheet relic in the world and a great watershed between the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The Columbia Glacier provides clean water and fresh air for the entire North America, and affects the ecological environment of animals and plants.

Bow Lake

Bow Lake is located approximately 30 minutes north of Lake Louise and off the Icefields Parkway (Hwy 93) in the Canadian Rockies. It is half a mile north of the Crowfoot Glacier. It sits at an elevation of 1,920 m (6,300 ft) and is one of the largest lakes at the Banff National Park. It is fed by the meltwater from the Bow Glacier in the Wapta Icefield. Bow Lake is a wonderful place for a picnic and to enjoy scenic breathtaking views.

Town of Banff

Banff is a small town within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It is one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations. It is known for its mountainous environment and hot springs, and is a popular destination for outdoor activities and hiking, biking, climbing, and skiing.

Due to the limited hotel resources in the Banff area, it is not possible to specify the room type. The hotel will randomly arrange a king-size bed room or a twin bed room based on the room availability on that day. Thank you for your understanding!

Today we'll explore Banff National Park in depth! We'll pass by the Victoria Glacier and head to Lake Louise, known as the "Sapphire of the Rockies," to experience its tranquility and beauty. During the summer when Moraine Lake is open, we'll visit the glacial lake at an altitude of 1885 meters, witnessing this Tiffany blue hidden among the mountains. Afterwards, we'll visit Yoho National Park, taking photos of the "natural bridge" sculpted by erosion. Our final stop is Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. As its name suggests, Emerald Lake displays varying shades of green under different lighting, its beauty undeniable.

Lake Louise, located on the south side of Highway 1, is a famous attraction in Banff National Park. With Mount Victoria as its barrier and surrounded by dense forests, the mountains and waters are interdependent, forming a perfect landscape photo. Emerald Lake

The beautiful Emerald Lake is the largest lake in Yoho National Park, covering an area of slightly more than one square kilometer. The lake water presents different shades of green under different light conditions, and is known as the "Emerald of the Rocky Mountains." Walking along the lakeside path, you can enjoy the reflections of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the vigorous pines and cypresses nearby in the rippling blue water.

Natural Bridge

This natural bridge was formed after millions of years of erosion by the Kikinhaus River (also known as the Leaping Horse River). Initially, the river water washed out cracks in the solid rocks, causing the rushing river water to continuously break through the cracks in the rocks, and then gradually hollowed out the huge rocks from the bottom upwards, eventually making a huge rock blocking the river channel washed away into a "natural bridge" shaped like a bridge.

Marble Canyon

Marble Canyon is a popular hike in Kootenay National Park near Lake Louise, Alberta. The hike is an easy 1 mile (1.6 km) out and back trail suitable for all skill levels with fencing along most areas. The trail follows Tokumm Creek which created Marble Canyon by cutting and carving it’s way through the rock. Turquoise, glacial waters, and startling canyon walls grow ever more impressive along this short trail. Multiple bridges span the narrow gorge, crossing several times for spine-tingling views of the river below! Watch for fuchsia fireweed and mountain bluebirds in a landscape shaped by fire, erosion, and mountain building.

Day 4: "Rocky Mountaineer" First Passage to the West Train Tour

The Rocky Mountaineer

In the morning, we'll meet at the hotel lobby and take a shuttle bus to the train station. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train from the mountain city of Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. As you journey through the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, you'll experience a series of spectacular scenery, including the Continental Divide, the Corkscrew Tunnel, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie. Overnight in Kamloops.

Itinerary:

Banff → "Rocky Mountaineer" First Passage to the West Train Tour → Kamloops

Hotel: Kamloops Regular Hotel (Your hotel will be allocated by the train company upon your booking, usually a three-star hotel, and the train company will arrange the hotel pick-up and drop-off service.)

Meals: Breakfast/Lunch served on the train (No additional booking is required for the breakfast at the Banff Town hotel from the previous night's stay on the day of the tour.)

For Canadians, the Rocky Mountains are more than just a mountain range; they are called the "backbone of North America." The Rocky Mountaineer is a luxury sightseeing train that runs in western Canada. It is one of the best ways for tourists to fully appreciate the local customs and culture of this region. The train will take you along rivers, through quaint mountain towns, past magnificent snow-capped peaks, and through spectacular canyon scenery. You will also be able to see lush green forests and clear blue glacial lakes.

Day 5: "Rocky Mountaineer" Journey Through The Clouds Train Tour

Board the train around 07:35 am PT. Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see the dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through the winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Today’s highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. After a full day of the train, you will arrive in Vancouver between 18:00 pm and 19:30 pm PT.
