Departing Vancouver this morning, we'll drive along the scenic Fraser Valley Highway to Hope, the gold rush town featured in Sylvester Stallone's film "Rambo," a must-see for prospectors. We'll then travel to Kamloops, a semi-desert city renowned for its ginseng production. We'll visit a ginseng plantation and processing facility to learn about ginseng cultivation and its therapeutic benefits, and even have the opportunity to sample authentic ginseng tea. We'll then proceed to Separate Falls. While not as picturesque as Huangguoshu Falls or as majestic as Niagara Falls, it remains a natural wonder, shaped by over 400,000 years of glacial and volcanic activity. We'll spend the night in Valemount.

Kamloops Ginseng Factory

The largest producer of American ginseng in North America was originally in the United States, and Kamloops later began to grow American ginseng. Because Kamloops has unpolluted fertile soil and a semi-desert dry climate, it has become the largest producer of American ginseng in North America and is known as the "Ginseng Capital". It has a long history and culture of Aboriginal people, with a total of 17 Aboriginal tribal communities, making it the most important Aboriginal community in the interior of British Columbia.

Spahats Falls

Volcanic rock deposits left behind centuries ago formed the cake-shaped gorge of Separhat Falls, making it one of the most dramatic waterfalls in Wells Gray National Park. Take a stroll through the cool hemlock and cedar forests and see the waterfall cascading through a keyhole in the rock face 80 meters above the Clearwater River. It's absolutely spectacular!

Depart from Valemount in the morning and enter Mount Robson Provincial Park. As British Columbia's oldest provincial park, Mount Robson is not only a UNESCO World Heritage site, but also the starting point of the Fraser River's 1,368-kilometer journey to the Pacific Ocean. Then enter the town of Jasper and experience the unique charm of this town located in the national park. Next we will take a cruise on Maligne Lake, the world's second largest glacial lake and the only lake in the Rocky Mountains that is open to motor boats. After the tour, return to the hotel to rest.

Mount Robson Provincial Park

Mount Robson Provincial Park, the second oldest park in British Columbia’s park system, is truly one of the world’s crown jewels. The mountain for which the park is named guards the park’s western entrance. At 3,954 meters, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, towers over the lesser surrounding peaks; winter or summer, this is one of the finest views in the Rocky Mountains.

Town of Jasper

Jasper is a small town located in the northernmost Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada, with a population of approximately 3,000. The town was built in 1822 and has all the public facilities here, including restaurants, hotels, train stations, bus stations, cinemas, post offices, schools, hospitals, etc. There are many such towns in North America, each with its own history and charm, but because Jasper is located in Canada's famous national park, this town is particularly popular with tourists.

Maligne Lake

Maligne Lake is the second largest glacial lake in the world and the only lake in the Rocky Mountains where motor boats can sail. The scenery around the lake is magnificent, with dense pine forests, lovely grasslands and flowers all over the mountains. There are many hiking trails along the lake. The Fairy Island in Maligne Lake is the most beautiful scenery in the entire Jasper Park and often appears in various travel books and scenic postcards.

Today's journey begins with a visit to Jasper National Park, one of Canada's renowned alpine national parks and the largest in the Canadian Rockies. This stunning landscape, rich in wildlife, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll then enter the Rocky Mountain National Park complex and reach Athabasca Falls. While not the highest waterfall in the Rockies, the interplay of rivers makes it one of the most powerful and spectacular. We'll continue along the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Glacier. Take a giant snowmobile to the 300- meter-deep Athabasca Glacier and experience firsthand the remains of the Second Ice Age. Next, we'll visit the 280- meter-high Glacier Glass Bridge, a glass bridge overlooking the Columbia Icefield, offering a close-up glimpse of one of the world's most unique ecosystems. We'll then visit Peyto Lake, where the waters of this glacial lake are tinged with a Tiffany blue hue due to mineral deposits at the bottom. This jewel-like, shimmering water, nestled peacefully amidst the surrounding mountains, promises a truly spectacular viewing experience. We'll arrive in Banff in the evening.

Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park spans 4,200 square miles (10,878 square km) and contains significant active geologic processes, scenic mountains, along with diverse animal and plant populations. When Jasper was first protected as a forest park in 1907, it covered an area of approximately 5,000 square miles (12,950 square km). In 1930 it was declared a national park with its present size. It was designated part of UNESCO’s Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site in 1984.

Athabasca Falls

Located in Jasper National Park, Athabasca Falls is a waterfall formed in the upper reaches of the Athabasca River. It is known as the most breathtaking waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. Athabasca Falls is famous not only for its height of 23 meters and the rushing water, but also because the waterfall water carries sand and stones and impacts the two banks with great force to form a pothole.

Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Glacier was formed in ancient times. It is located on the plateau and close to the North Pole. It is one of the 17 glaciers in the Rocky Mountains. It is a famous ancient ice sheet relic in the world and a great watershed between the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The Columbia Glacier provides clean water and fresh air for the entire North America, and affects the ecological environment of animals and plants.

Check in at the Glacier Discovery Centre and take a shuttle to the Icefield Transfer Station to board a large Glacier Explorer built specifically for glacier travel.

Columbia Icefield Skywalk

Explore the immense powers of glaciology from a fully accessible, cliff-edge walkway that leads to a glass-floored observation platform 280 m (918 ft) above the Sunwapta Valley. From ice-capped mountain peaks to vast glacier-formed valleys, the Columbia Icefield Skywalk is your front-row seat to nature's most grand performance.

Peyto Lake

Peyto Lake is a popular sightseeing spot! It is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is near the Icefields Parkway. During the summer, a significant amount of glacial rock flour flows into the lake from a nearby glacier. The suspended rock particles are what give the lake a unique bright, turquoise color. Due to its bright color, photos of the lake often appear in illustrated books.

First, you can choose to take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola (at your own expense) to the summit for panoramic views of Banff's verdant mountains and shimmering lakes. Next, visit Devil's Rock, admiring its unique and rugged geological formations sculpted by nature. Then, head to Bow Falls to witness the graceful flow of the water; stop at Surprise Point to capture the breathtaking scenery of the lake and mountains, where every step reveals a new vista. Afterwards, arrive in the town of Banff and immerse yourself in the relaxed atmosphere and unique charm of this town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Bow Falls

The movie "River of No Return" starring Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s was filmed here. In the movie, the sexy goddess Marilyn Monroe hung clothes by the river. Since then, Bow Falls has attracted a large number of backpackers to come and watch every year.

Johnston Canyon is located on the Bow Valley Parkway that connects Banff Town and Lake Louise. It was formed by thousands of years of river erosion, so there are many streams and waterfalls in the canyon. The canyon has deep and dangerous terrain, with fast-flowing water in summer and covered with ice and snow in winter. The canyon is covered with lush vegetation, lush and fresh in summer, and covered with crystal tree hangings in winter, each with its own characteristics.

Day 5: "Rocky Mountaineer" First Passage to the West Train Tour

In the morning, we'll meet at the hotel lobby and take a shuttle bus to the train station. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train from the mountain city of Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. As you journey through the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, you'll experience a series of spectacular scenery, including the Continental Divide, the Corkscrew Tunnel, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie. Overnight in Kamloops.

The train will take you along rivers, through quaint mountain towns, past magnificent snow-capped peaks, and through spectacular canyon scenery. You will also be able to see lush green forests and clear blue glacial lakes.

Day 6: "Rocky Mountaineer" Journey Through The Clouds Train Tour

Board the train around 07:35 am PT. Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see the dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through the winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Today’s highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. After a full day of the train, you will arrive in Vancouver between 18:00 pm and 19:30 pm PT.
