Depart from Calgary or Banff in the morning. Enjoy views of Crowfoot Glacier along the way. First, visit Bow Lake, where the silhouettes of the Rocky Mountains are clearly reflected on the water surface. You may also stop by Num-Ti-Jah Lodge by the lake to learn stories about Jimmy Simpson, a legendary guide of the Rockies. Next, head to Peyto Lake. In case of force majeure such as scenic area closure for maintenance, the tour will be switched to Waterfowl Lake. This maple-leaf-shaped lake looks like a sapphire ribbon embedded in the valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Afterwards, buffet lunch (at your own expense) will be arranged at The Crossing.
Continue along the scenic Icefield Parkway (Highway 93) to reach the Icefield Centre. Board the Snowcoach to travel across the Athabasca Glacier and experience the wonders formed by nature over hundreds of millions of years. Finally, drive back to Banff.
*The Ice Explorer Snowcoach operates from May 1 to October 12. From October 13 onwards, the tour will stay at scenic spots and the snowcoach activity will no longer be available for booking.*
On fine weather days: Guests can take an easy hike on the hills in front of the glacier (about 60 minutes) to get a close look at the icefield scenery.
On bad weather days: Follow the tour guide's arrangement to view the glacier from a distance, and an extra stop at Waterfowl Lake will be added.

Depart the hotel early in the morning and head west along Highway 1. The towering and rugged Castle Mountain comes into view, and you will soon arrive at Lake Louise, one of the most renowned lakes in the Rocky Mountains. Under the sunshine, the mineral-rich lake water glows with a stunning sapphire blue. Surrounded on three sides by the towering Victoria Glacier, the lake is like a jade nestled among the mountains, earning it the nickname "the Sapphire of the Rockies". Looking back from the lakeshore, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands quietly amid pine forests, welcoming visitors. Afterwards, hike to the top of the trail. The crystal-clear green waters of seasonal Moraine Lake blend beautifully with the jagged Ten Peaks. Standing at the vantage point, you can take in the full view of the lakes and mountains, losing track of time entirely.
After leaving Moraine Lake, proceed to Lake Louise Village for lunch (at your own expense; Chinese or Western set meals can be booked additionally). After lunch, continue westward. Pass the Spiral Tunnels, a historic structure built through the arduous efforts of Pacific Railway workers, and enter Yoho National Park. You will then reach the serene Emerald Lake, where red canoes create ripples across the tranquil water. Next, visit the Natural Bridge, formed by the continuous erosion of the Kicking Horse River over thousands of years. The river course, ancient pine trees, distant mountains and shallow shoals together form a picturesque landscape. On the return trip, stop over at Banff Town before driving back to Calgary.
*Moraine Lake: The lake is open seasonally. The typical opening period runs from the Victoria Day long weekend in May until late September and early October each year, subject to official notices from the national park authority. When the lake is closed and inaccessible to visitors, it will be replaced by Lake Minnewanka (30 mins) and Two Jack Lake (15 mins). The mandatory admission fee for Moraine Lake will be waived accordingly.

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals.

- Fuel Surcharge Collection Notice.Due to the persistently high international fuel prices, a fuel surcharge will be applied to all summer tour groups to maintain high-quality service during the summer travel season. Charging Standard 5 Canadian dollars per person per day. The arrival transfer day is excluded from the surcharge calculation. Payment Method Cash payment to be collected on tour.
- It is recommended that you book catering packages and activity items included in the itinerary as early as possible. No additional bookings will be accepted 7 days prior to departure and throughout the trip.
- The order of scenic spots and transit cities may be adjusted according to actual travel conditions such as travel schedule, weather, traffic and other objective factors. Visitors are advised not to arrange early departure from the group, otherwise you shall bear any losses incurred due to such changes.
- Please arrive at each designated assembly point 5 to 10 minutes in advance. If you miss the tour bus due to late arrival, you need to proceed to the next assembly point on your own.
- Travelers under 16 years old must be accompanied by adults aged 18 and above when joining the tour group.
- Free activities included in the itinerary will not be refunded if they cannot be provided due to force majeure such as traffic problems and bad weather, or if you fail to participate for personal reasons. We appreciate your understanding.
- Cruise tickets for Maligne Lake are limited controlled resources. When available tickets run out, local travel agencies will allocate resources based on order submission time. We will issue refunds to tourists who fail to secure tickets.
- In the Rocky Mountain Scenic Area, the temperature difference between morning and evening is quite large. The average daytime temperature in summer is 25 degrees Celsius, while the average nighttime temperature ranges from 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. Please pack suitable luggage accordingly.
- The Rocky Mountains enjoy abundant sunshine and strong ultraviolet rays in summer, so please prepare sun protection products. The area has a dry climate, making body lotion also an essential travel item.
- Wild animals are frequently spotted in the Rocky Mountain Scenic Area. Feeding them is strictly prohibited. Do not get off the vehicle to watch if you encounter large wild animals.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all hotel rooms throughout the trip. Violators will be fined no less than 300 Canadian dollars.
- Most hotels in the Rocky Mountain area are 3 to 4-story wooden buildings, and some are not equipped with elevators.
