Each booking entitles guests to one free airport pick-up at YYC Airport on the first day of the itinerary. Paid pick-up service is available for multiple pick-up trips.

Please note that the last departure for guide-led pick-up is at 22:00, and the final hotel shuttle bus departs at 22:30. Guests who miss these services will need to make their own way to the hotel.

## Private Paid Airport Pick-up

Private car pick-up can be reserved for flights arriving between 7:00 and 23:00. The rate is CAD 90 plus tax for the first two passengers. Please contact customer service to confirm exact pricing, with a maximum of 4 guests per booking.

## Pick-up Method

We will arrange either a West Star guide or hotel shuttle bus flexibly based on flight arrival times. Guests with similar arrival times will share the same pick-up shuttle, which may result in a short waiting period at the airport. We appreciate your understanding.

## Important Reminders

The final pick-up time and location shall be subject to the SMS notification sent 3 days before tour departure. If you hold a +86 mobile number, you may leave your WeChat ID in the order notes. We will contact you via WeChat with pick-up information if SMS delivery fails.

If airport transfer service is included in your itinerary but cannot be completed as scheduled due to delayed or inaccurate flight information provided by guests, guests must travel to the hotel independently. Should you require a new pick-up arrangement, the travel agency can arrange a private paid car pick-up at an additional cost based on actual circumstances.

# Itinerary:

Calgary – Banff – Lake Louise (75 mins) – Moraine Lake (60 mins) – Lunch at Lake Louise Village (at your own expense; Grill & Bar lunch add-on available, 45 mins) – Emerald Lake (20 mins) – Natural Bridge (15 mins) – Banff

Depart the hotel early in the morning and head west along Highway 1. The rugged and steep Castle Mountain will come into view. Shortly after, you will reach Lake Louise, the most famous lake in the Rocky Mountains. Bathed in sunlight, its mineral-rich waters shimmer with a captivating shade of sapphire blue, enclosed on three sides by the towering Victoria Glacier. Resembling a jade gem scattered amid the mountains, it has earned the moniker "Sapphire of the Rockies". Looking back from the lakeshore, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands serenely among pine forests, welcoming visitors. Afterwards, hike to the top of the trail, where the crystal-clear turquoise waters of seasonal Moraine Lake glisten against the jagged Ten Peaks. Standing at the vantage point, you can take in the full panoramic view of the lake and mountain scenery, losing all sense of time. After leaving Moraine Lake, proceed to Lake Louise Village for lunch (at your own expense; Chinese or Western set meals are available as add-ons). Following lunch, continue westbound, passing the Spiral Tunnel built through the blood, sweat and tears of Pacific Railway labourers to enter Yoho National Park. You will then arrive at the tranquil Emerald Lake, where red canoes trail ripples across its placid surface. Next, visit Natural Bridge, formed by the gradual erosion of the Kicking Horse River over thousands of years. The waterway, ancient pine trees, distant peaks and shallow shoals together form a breathtaking natural painting. Finally, drive back to Banff.

*Moraine Lake: Seasonal Access

Reference opening period: Victoria Day long weekend in May through late September/early October each year, subject to official notices from Parks Canada. When closed and inaccessible, the substitute attractions will be Lake Minnewanka (30 mins) and Two Jack Lake (15 mins). The mandatory entry fee for Moraine Lake will be waived in such cases.

In the morning, take a coach to Banff National Park and arrive at Sulphur Mountain to ride the Banff Gondola (at your own expense). As the gondola ascends slowly, you can admire the snow-covered mountain landscape surrounded by rolling peaks. Afterwards, head to the Hoodoos standing above the banks of the Bow River, and witness the magnificent Bow Falls roaring down, where black rock formations contrast beautifully with white rushing water just like a mighty river surging eastward. Next, proceed to Surprise Corner for distant views of Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow River scenery. Then enter and tour the Scottish castle-style Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, where you will stop for lunch at your own expense. After lunch, explore Johnston Canyon, one of the three major canyons in the Rocky Mountains, and follow the trail up to the rushing waterfalls. Depart from your hotel in Banff in the morning. Catch distant views of Crowfoot Glacier along the route before arriving at Peyto Lake. If the scenic area is closed due to maintenance or other force majeure, the visit will be replaced with Waterfowl Lake. This maple leaf-shaped lake unfolds like a turquoise ribbon embedded in the valleys of the Rocky Mountains. Afterwards, a buffet lunch at your own expense will be arranged at The Crossing. Continue along the picturesque Highway 93, the Icefields Parkway, to the Icefield Centre. Here, you may board the Ice Explorer (at your own expense) to travel across the Athabasca Glacier and witness natural formations forged over hundreds of millions of years. You can also step onto the 280-metre-high Glacier Skywalk (at your own expense), which offers panoramic vistas of the Sunwapta Valley; when mist rolls in, you will feel as if you are walking among clouds. Next, head to Athabasca Falls, a 23-metre waterfall carved by glacial meltwater erosion. Finally, drive to Jasper Town and check into your hotel.

For departures on and after October 13, the itinerary will stay at the scenic spot without the Ice Explorer and Glacier Skywalk add-ons:

- Fine weather: Guests may take an easy 60-minute hike on the hills in front of the glacier for an up-close view of the glacial landscape.

- Poor weather: Follow the tour guide’s arrangement to view the glacier from a distance, with an extra stop at Waterfowl Lake added to the itinerary.

## Itinerary Overview

The train will arrive at Jasper Railway Station at approximately 08:00. Please arrive at the station at least 90 minutes in advance to complete relevant procedures (the train departs at 09:00) – VIA Train from Jasper to Vancouver (approximately 23.5 hours of travel time) – arrive at Vancouver Pacific Station at 08:00 the next day.

Departing from Jasper, you will embark on a distinctive Rocky Mountain train journey. You will feast your eyes on spectacular landscapes stretching 800 kilometers along the route. The train travels through alpine meadows, past snow-capped mountains and waterfalls, with snow-white glaciers glistening under the azure sky. You may catch distant glimpses of Mount Robson, Canada’s highest peak. As literati once put it: "The Rocky Mountains are a temple worthy of reverence, a place to purify your soul." As the sun sets and night falls, you will fall asleep surrounded by pristine natural scenery.

The train departs at 09:00. Please arrive at the station at least 90 minutes early for check-in and luggage consignment (to be processed with valid identification documents and VIA Rail e-tickets).

However, any additional expenses incurred as a result (such as accommodation, local transportation, catering, etc.) shall be borne solely by the traveler.
